Once you have done your research it is important to reflect on what it tells you and how you can learn from it to inform your ideas for your project. Below is an example of an analysis of a moodboard for the year 9 project. Use this and the questions shared with you in google classroom to write your own analysis.
Using the work of other artists and designers gives further depth to your work and shows evidence of your knowledge and understanding of a wider context. Here is an example of an analysis of Clare Youngs work for the year 9 project. Please do not copy this but use it if you are stuck with your own work, the questions for this task will be on google classroom.

It is important to show what you are thinking and why you are making certain design decisions throughout your sketchbook. This is really important practice if you are considering any of the art and design subjects for GCSE.
To do this, use the questions below to analyse and evaluate the techniques you have experimented with and the samples that you have made, as this will show the person marking your work that you have thought about each decision and give you further opportunities to evidence your knowledge and understanding.
